Volume 30, Number 4

Disassembly at auction

The unit has a shattered memory core
And a hallucinatory blue smear over the left retina
Chassis intact, with some bruising of the metal
Served in the last American war
Gonads still functional
Brain missing.
Left leg is a total loss
Right, still has its internal fluids
The paint is a classic chemical type
Hard to find now
All industrial processes used to create it are no longer used
Last owner, a Canadian slaver
Lot sold as a piece
As a memento,
We provide this holographic tape of the unit's voice
